What to know about the Poodle
Temperament and living together
Very sociable and attached to its family, the toy poodle is one of the dogs that best reads our mood. It learns quickly, responds very well to positive training and enjoys puzzle games. It is sensitive: it does not cope well with long hours alone or with shouting, and it needs company and routine.
Daily care
Its curly coat grows continuously: brush it daily and take it to a groomer every 4 to 8 weeks. It needs daily walks and play, and its eyes, ears and teeth should be checked regularly.
Health and prevention
Keeping a healthy weight, looking after its teeth with good dental hygiene and checking its eyes and ears regularly all help it stay healthy and active for many years.
